SafetyNET – In partnership with the FBI, MENTOR makes nationwide FBI fingerprint-based background checks available to any mentoring program in the country. Through SafetyNET, each FBI background check costs only $18 with a turnaround time of approximately 5 business days. For an overview of the SafetyNET pilot,see the SafetyNET Fact Sheet. More detailed information and the application are provided in the SafetyNET Manual. Once you have read the manual and are sure that you want to join the SafetyNET pilot program, you can fill out the program application.
