Maureen and Fernando are a perfect match. Fernando is an English Language Learner (ELL) student and Maureen is a retired English teacher. Maureen has been able to use some of her own teaching materials to help Fernando learn to read English. She made flash cards and brings pictures of things Fernando enjoys to make the experience more fun. Because Maureen goes that extra mile, Fernando is not only doing well in school, he is so eager to learn that he is usually the first one to arrive in the classroom the morning.
