This mentoring roundtable of Grays Harbor is a coalition consisting of local mentoring organizations. This coalition provides opportunities for youth-serving organizations to build a base of community support.

This coalition is a collaborative effort to promote mentoring of youth in Grays Harbor County and surrounding areas.

SOS University Program

SOS Outreach builds character in underserved youth to enhance decision-making for healthy and successful life experiences. Each SOS program intergrates the five core values of our organization: Courage, Discipline, Integrity, Wisdom and Compassion. Our cirriculum includes consistent adult mentors, community service opportunities and the adult mentor relationships that are central to our programs.

100 Black Men of Greater Seattle Incorporated

Seattle, WA

Through "Mentoring the 100 Way" training program, we ensure our volunteer members become certified mentors, advocates and role models for their youth. We partner with various local agnecies to fill the "Mentor Gap" first. Education: Our goal is to support the "100"operates the Wimberley Initiative. Partner with local schools to engage in the S.T.E.P. (Students Tutorial Enrichment Program). Other current initiatives will include SAT/ACT preparatory classes and technology courses that assist the community as we strive to address the digital divide.

Tincan

Spokane, WA

Tincan is a non-profit organization in Spokane. We work with youth throughout the greater Spokane region in projects ranging from video production to game development. We create groups for youth who do not tend to join traditional activities. We offer them a place and an experience that is unique and meaningful.  Tincan also provides education and support for social, economic and community development for the Inland Northwest region through the use of information technology and interactive media.
