Cultural Competence and The Impact of Stereotypes
Participants will learn to develop their cultural competence through interactive exercises, video and lecture. Participants will examine the effects of stereotypes on target groups and how stereotyping impacts cross cultural relationships. Questions like: how are we perceived by others; what messages do we hear about who we are; how are we portrayed by others; and how this effects our relationships are all explored.

The Total Experience Gospel Choir will host an evening of song, dance and instrumental music to benefit the victims of Haiti's devastating earthquake in January 2010.
