New Web-based Mentor Training

We are pleased to announce a new web-based mentor training course from mentoring experts Jean Rhodes and Janis Kupersmidt, called Mentoring Foundations. This course is focused on building the foundation for developing a mentoring relationship with children. 

The course has 5 interactive, video-rich lessons:

Lesson 1: Introduction to Mentoring Central
Lesson 2: Motivation and Expectations
Lesson 3: Roles Mentors Should and Should Not Play
Lesson 4: Behavioral Characteristics of Effective Mentors
Lesson 5: The Importance of Having Fun in a Mentoring Relationship

The course costs $25 per mentor, but organizations can purchase bundles of uses for mentors at a discount.
The mentor training course is hosted along with Making Connections, a course developed specifically for building and maintaining strong relationships with youth in school settings, that is useful for mentors, youth-workers and school staff.
