Their Journey Together
Ana and Janet have been together almost ten years. Janet has been by Ana’s side as she has grown into a young woman, a young woman who this fall will be the first person in her family to graduate high school and attend college. Janet and Ana’s relationship exemplifies what a difference all the little things mean and how important it is to be there with an open heart and an available ear.
What A Team
Mychaela was matched with sisters Laura Lee and Genie in 2006 as part of their Couples Match. Mychaela is lucky that Laura Lee and Genie have complimentary personalities. Genie is thoughtful and thorough while Laura Lee is spontaneous and outgoing. Mychaela’s nature is sweet and shy and somewhat careful. The three of them love to do crafts and to cook and they participate in BBBS Pool Parties and other BBBS sponsored events. Mychaela’s mom says that she has seen Mychaela’s confidence grow since being matched with Laura Lee and Genie.
